Just checking in, we have been on alert with the fires on the Sunshine Coast so have had the car packed ready to evacuate if the need arose with anything that couldn't be replaced, thankfully everyone is fine & everything seem to be contained.
Our thoughts are with all of the Sunny Coasters who have been affected, the amount of support & help from the community that has been displayed for ppl who where stranded with no where to go & ppl opening their homes to animals & caravans etc being housed on bigger properties to keep them out of harms is one of the big reasons I love calling this part of the world home.
As I was unpacking the car, (the fire is contained again) I found this in my box of photos i had taken with me.
Many days & nights where spent like this, & whilst it seems so hard at the time, my goodness that time goes so quickly & then you have a 9 year old.
I hope everyone up this way is safe & for those further up Noosa way where the latest fire has started & properties have been lost our thoughts are with you. Stay safe xx
